In 2015, Trestle partnered with Seattle area apartment industry veterans, Shelter Resources, Inc and BFI Properties, LLC to acquire and renovate 4 apartment complexes (166 units) in the scenic communities of Burlington and Oak Harbor, north of Seattle, WA.

Slated for completion in Summer of 2016, the project includes a comprehensive $6,000,000 renovation which will ensure that the assets provide high quality affordable housing to their communities for years to come.

Affordable and workforce housing is a critical to the vibrancy, health and equality of our communities. Trestle is keenly focused on creating and preserving affordable housing with traditional affordable housing resources as well as market based approaches.  

The PNW 4 were financed with equity LIHTC equity from Enterprise Community Investments, a tax exempt bond loan from Citi Community Capital and additional financing from the Washington State Housing Finance Commission’s  special Program Investment Fund.
