David is a principal of Trestle and specializes in the acquisition, financing and development of urban multifamily properties.  

David is dedicated to creating solutions that allow people to live in inclusive communities and is at the forefront of innovative methods to deliver affordable urban housing. David’s specialties include LIHTCs, tax-exempt bonds, and workforce housing finance.

Prior to founding Trestle in 2013, David worked in the public sector as a Director for the San Diego Housing Commission’s development affiliate, Housing Development Partners. In his role, he managed all stages of the housing development process, including negotiating transactions, securing entitlements, financing and overseeing construction. 

David began his career in multifamily housing in 2006 as a project manager in the Seattle office of Vitus Group, a national leader in affordable housing finance and preservation. 

David lives in Spokane, WA with his wife, Emily, and their three daughters. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Western Washington University. Connect with David. 

Rob Morgan is a principal of Trestle, with extensive experience in acquisitions, capital markets, and project management of institutional and non-institutional multifamily and mixed-use development projects throughout the Western U.S.

Before joining Trestle in 2019, Rob was Senior Vice President and Regional Development Partner at JPI, one of the largest multifamily developers in the U.S., overseeing site acquisition, entitlements, and capital markets for the Western Region with over $300 million in annual development. Prior to JPI, Rob worked as a Development Manager for ConAm, where he managed projects in Portland, Seattle, and Southern California. Since 2011, he has also led small-scale multifamily developments through Canvas Ventures, LLC, with projects in Downtown San Diego and Solana Beach.

Rob began his multifamily career in 2006 as a top-producing broker for Colliers International, specializing in urban land, adaptive reuse, and investment properties.

With stints in Oklahoma City, Orange County, and Philadelphia Rob eventually settled in San Diego with his wife, Jessica, and their three children.  He holds a master’s in real estate development from USC and a bachelor’s degree in business administration and philosophy/theology from Point Loma Nazarene University.  Connect with Rob. 

David has over 20 years of experience in multifamily/mixed-use development, financing and asset management across the western US.  As the Vice President of Development, David manages project execution across the full development life-cycle of Trestle’s growing pipeline.  Previously, David served as the Director of Development with Chelsea Investment Corporation, a prominent affordable housing developer in the Pacific Southwest, where he oversaw a team of development professionals with a portfolio of over 20 active projects throughout California, New Mexico and Utah. Prior to Chelsea, David served as the Vice President/Development Partner at JPI, a national, market-rate, multifamily developer, leading development activities for the western region.  Over his career, David has been involved in the planning and development of over 8,000 units including affordable and market rate as well as attached and detached for-sale product.

David currently sits on the Board of Directors for two local nonprofit organizations, HomeAid San Diego, who partners with local homeless shelter providers and the Downtown San Diego Partnership (DSDP), a local organization focused on preserving the economic prosperity and cultural vitality of Downtown San Diego, as well as leading the fight against homelessness.

A native of San Diego, David enjoys surfing, golf and spending time at the beach with his wife, Sarah, his son, James and their dog, Benny. He can also be found backpacking around the world, including Mt Kilimanjaro, Patagonia, New Zealand, and Japan.  David holds a Masters of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, Berkeley.

Pari joined Trestle as a project manager in 2022. Previously, she served as Vice President of Development for the Housing Authority in San Diego and its non-profit development affiliate, Housing Development Partners. In this role, she oversaw the construction division and managed the development of new affordable and permanent supportive housing.  

Her career in affordable housing began as a legislative aide to a local city councilmember, where she analyzed land use and housing policies.

Pari lives in San Diego with her partner, Shane, their son, and their golden retriever. She holds a bachelor's degree in public administration from San Diego State University, along with project management and real estate development certificates from the University of San Diego.

Mirasol manages financing applications, lender and investor due diligence, and assists with project management and coordination. Since joining in 2018, she has taken on various roles in project management, asset management and office administration, where her organizational skills and strong customer service have been instrumental in helping Trestle execute large-scale projects with precision.

Before joining Trestle, Mirasol managed marketing and operations at two start-ups in Miami, Florida—one specializing in retail baked goods and the other in e-commerce for university textbooks. Her diverse experience adds valuable insight to her current role.

Mirasol holds a BS in Communications and Criminology from the University of Miami.

Adi Hawk joined Trestle in 2024, bringing years of experience in affordable housing and expertise as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). As Asset Manager, Adi oversees Trestle's portfolio, managing budgeting, compliance, and ensuring that properties perform at their highest potential. Her strategic approach to asset management and deep understanding of affordable housing make her an integral part of the team.

Before Trestle, Adi managed large portfolios, including affordable and mixed-income properties, at firms like Fairstead and Hampstead Companies.

Adi holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland, is a licensed CPA, and has a California real estate license. She lives with her family in San Diego.

Ben Dumars serves as a Financial Analyst at Trestle Build, where he supports the firm’s acquisition underwriting and affordable multifamily development efforts. He joined Trestle full-time in 2025 after completing an internship with the company, quickly establishing himself as a disciplined, analytical, and team-oriented contributor.

At Trestle, Ben analyzes new development opportunities, builds and refines financial models, and assists with project management across the firm’s affordable housing pipeline. His work supports capital structuring, feasibility analysis, and execution for complex multifamily transactions.

Ben brings a strong foundation in underwriting and market analysis. Prior to joining Trestle, he worked as an Investment Analyst Intern at Marcus & Millichap, where he performed multifamily underwriting, conducted rent surveys, and completed formal training in sales processes, underwriting methodologies, and CoStar market analysis tools. He also interned with Ambient Communities, gaining exposure to entitlements, zoning hearings, market studies, investor package preparation, and development execution.

A graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Ben combines technical rigor with a service-oriented mindset. While at PLNU, he served as a mentor for freshman students and fostering community within campus housing. He also volunteered in homeless outreach programs, reinforcing his commitment to work that strengthens communities.
